Boozer || Blog Post

Over winter break my family had the privilege to watch my brother's fraternity's dog, boozer.  I know, how appropriate of a name for a college frat.  Boozer is the epitome of a loved mis-fit. Nobody knows what kind of dog he is, or really his exact age, but what is known is that he is very lovable.  Well until he's not.  I've never really been all that comfortable with small dogs.  Simply because I have never been around them.  I've grown up with labs, and labs are small for about 4 weeks.  Because my new job wasn't scheduled to start until at least January, me and boozer had a lot of time to get to know each other.  I would be working on edits while laying in bed and he would jump up and nestle in right along with me.  This worked for the both of us until he started eating my plants.  That's when we changed to hanging out on the couch.  With each passing day of boozer's week long vacation at our home, he grew more and more comfortable.  To the point of chewing up my mom's new carpet.  Yeah, that didn't go over very well. I guess the moral of this post is that I honestly can't wait until I am stable enough to get a dog.  Then hopefully I'll be the next John Gorgan writing about his dog Marley.
